Magnesium carbonate

Magfy is the trademark of our Magnesium Carbonate obtained from high-purity Magnesite. Magfy is used as a flame retardant filler for halogenated polymers.

Magfy has been specifically designed to act as a flame retardant filler and smoke suppressant in PVC compounds.

The application of Magfy in PVC, CPE and chlorinated elastomers provides the following advantages:

Increase in LOI (Limiting Oxygen Index)
Reduction of smoke density and smoke acidity
Optimal processability and dispersibility, even at high filler loadings
