Alufy 6

ALUFY 6 is one of the latest innovation launched by Nuova Sima in the field of Smart Flame Retardant Fillers.

Antimony Tri-Oxide (ATO) is an effective flame retardant for PVC, but increases the smoke emission under fire.

Low smoke PVC compounds can be obtained by reducing ATO amount and adding proper amount of ALUFY 6.

ALUFY 6 is a new grade of milled ATH (Aluminium Tri-Hydroxide), especially designed for improving the performance of PVC cable compounds, reaching the top performance required by the upper classes of the new CPR European regulation.
